Info
Zoran Laketa is the only survivor of his family torn apart by the war in Mostar. His father, his older brother, and himself fought on three different fronts in the Bosnian War. An ordinary working-class family, he divided the members of his family into different fronts of the war, with his brother in the Bosnian Army, himself in the Croatian Defense Council, and his father in the Republika Srpska Army. At 25, he was told to join the army to fight and shoot. He learned over the radio that his brother was dead, and he lost his father after the war. While Zoran was a car mechanic and a young man with dreams, the war prevented him from his dreams. The times when he wanted to have a good purpose and an orderly life were left behind because of the war. Even though the impact of the war has diminished, its scars are still there.
