Panagia Tou Melas tells the story of Sümela, a place of striking visuals whose history and hidden secrets are still not fully known. Set on the cliffs of the Black Sea region, the documentary explores the monastery as both a sacred site and a living piece of memory. Our approach combines the dramatic landscape with the voices and traces that surround it. The film is part of the Doksansekiz Docu Series and is currently in development.
